Gerda Steiner Designs Monthly Challenge

Little Red Wagon Challenge #374 Hello 2017!

Hi Everyone!

LIttle Red Wagon Challenge #373 Follow the Star

Hi Everyone! 
This week it is my turn to be the hostess for the Little Red Wagon challenge.  The theme I have selected is "Follow the Star."  All you need to do is have a star or two on your project.  I chose this stamped image from Morning Star, I just love the simplicity of it.  Well, head over to our challenge to see what other star-stunning creations our girlfriends have come up with.  Merry Christmas everyone!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #372 Christmas Carols

Hi Everyone! 
It's pretty obvious the season is upon us, all the pretty lights, smells of baking cookies, and the sounds of Christmas carols!  Kate is our hostess this week and she wants us to use a line from a Christmas carol on our creations.  The song I chose is Jingle Bell Rock.  This is a gift card holder, I made for my bug man! He's a drummer in a band, but I know he'll like a rockin Santa too!  You can check out what songs the girlfriends are playing at Little Red Wagon.

Ok, so it wasn't until I'm posting this I see Kate wants us to use the lyrics of the song!  Oops!

Gerda Steiner November Challenge

Hi Everyone!
Here I am the last day of November and wandering - "where did it go?"  I've been playing catch up since we returned from our Italy trip in October.  We were gone for 2 1/2 weeks and when we returned it was November!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #368 It's Embossable!


Hi Everyone! 
 Here we go with a new challenge at Little Red Wagon - "It's Embossable!"  I am the hostess for this week and I want to see your paper crafts that are embossed.  It can be dry embossed or ink embossed - lots of options here! 
 I sorta simplified my card due to some medications that I am currently taking, my hands get very shaky! So I opted to bring out my Silhouette machine to help with that.   Can't wait to see what you create. Little Red Wagon Challenge #365 Stencil It

Hi Everyone!
We have a new challenge for this week at Little Red Wagon.  Kate is our hostess and she wants our creative projects to include a stencil on it. Its been a while since I've stenciled (tole painting days) and I have stenciled a border in my daughter's bedroom many moons ago! Looking at stencil designs I was blown away by all the options! Little Red Wagon Challenge #358 Fur-ever Friend

Hi Everyone! 

This week our challenge theme is Fur-ever Friends hosted by Kate.  She wants us to create a card with a house pet on it.  We have an adorable Jack Russell dog.  Jaxson is about 13 years old so he is our geriatric dog!  We've had him since he was 8 weeks old - I love that puppy!  We've gone through some good times together and when I've had my various health issues he has been right there with me through it all.  He's the best dog ever!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #357 Let's Get Inky

 

Hi Everyone!
Another week has rolled around and it's time for another challenge.  Mandy is our hostess and she has picked, "Let's Get Inky!"  She wants us to be creative with our ink pads - but sentiments don't count for this challenge!  Here is my card creation.  I used my inkpad to create my own background.  My focal point is a cat stamp from MFT I Knead You stamp set.  I took the smaller fishy stamps in the set and stamped my own background.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #355 Surf's Up!
